Feb. 11 marks the three-year anniversary of Houston’s death.
The singer accidentally drowned in a bathtub in the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Though unconfirmed, Whitney Houston’s mother Cissy allegedly wants Bobbi
Kristina taken off life support the same day her mother died.
Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina
Brown, was reportedly placed in a medically induced coma due to swelling of the
brain, according to TMZ, after being found unconscious in a bathtub in her home
in Roswell, Ga. on Saturday morning.
The 21-year-old was rushed to the hospital, where doctors
stabilized her breathing. She was in the intensive care unit at North Fulton
Hospital before being induced.
Police responded to a 911 call after Brown’s husband, Nick
Gordon, and Brown’s friend found her in the tub at 10:30 a.m. ET. Brown was
reportedly face down on her stomach in the bathtub full of water.
The two then performed CPR on her unresponsive body until
the police and paramedics arrived, providing life-saving care.
Georgia’s CBS affiliate first reported the news.
Police told the Associated Press that the incident is still
under investigation. The Roswell Police Department announced the news on its Facebook
page, along with a photo of Brown’s residence.
The police reportedly searched her home for drugs this afternoon,
but didn't find any.
The circumstances of the incident are eerie considering that
Houston was found dead in a bathtub following a drug overdose at Los Angeles’
Beverly Hilton Hotel. She died on Feb. 11, 2012.
